In 1979, a mysterious man in Switzerland made world news when he reportedly broke a spoon in half and fused it back together. At the time, a supermarket tabloid reported that a 37-year-old engineering draftsman in Bern, Switzerland could bend metal spoons and coins using his psychic power.
